LNDC offers backstopping services to investors including, but not limited to, facilitation of smooth and hassle-free access to investment related facilities and services provided in the country through various entities. The following services are offered:
Company Registration
Assistance in processing registration of companies to ensure that the company operates legally in the country.
Acquisition of Permits and Manufacturing Licenses
Liaison with relevant Government departments to process work and residence permits as well as manufacturing licenses.
Investor Counseling
Advice to investors in matters pertaining to their business activities such as:
Contacts with Government Ministries
- Contacts with Utility Companies
- Provision of information relating to policy changes affecting businesses
- Identification of suitable location for accommodation
Site Visits
Arrangement of appointments and preparation of itineraries for visiting investors as well as accompanying the investors to their various meetings. Site visits assist the investor to assess the investment climate.
Industrial Relations
- Intervention between employers/workers/workers’ unions when necessary.
- Advice to employers and employees on matters pertaining to labour laws and employer/employee relations with a view to preventing and resolving disputes in order to attain and maintain harmonious relations between the parties.
