• Advocate for creation of a  conducive climate for investment in the country through review of policies
  • Secure markets for investors through coordination and participation in trade shows as well as hosting buyer’s visits.
  • Organise induction for new investors to ensure that they operate within the requirements of the law.
  • Liaise between investors and government departments/service providers to ensure that investors’ grievances and complaints are addressed.
  • Fast track investors’ applications for renewal of licences and permits (work permits, residence permits, visas, etc) to ensure that they are issued on a timely basis.
  • Disseminate information to existing investors to keep them informed about changes (changes in policies, regulations and fee structures) that affect their operations;
  • Identification of joint venture partners for existing investors which require joint venture partners
  • Harmonization of relations between employers and their employees including their organizations;
  • Formulations of the following standard policies and procedures such as:
    • Disciplinary Code and Procedure,
    • Grievance procedure,
    • Redundancy  and Retrenchment Policy and Procedure,
    • Contracts of employment
